Many of us yogis have heard of Sun Salutations, as a matter of fact, I teach them as one of the 8 topics I have in rotation for teaching.

Moon Salutes offer the same physical benefits of the Sun Salute stretching the entire body, increasing circulation into the heart, lungs and all the major organs, muscles and joints; toning all the major muscle groups and promoting spinal flexibility, rejuvenating the nervous system; and, preventing and treating arthritis by promoting the secretion of synovial fluid in the joints.

The big difference you will see is in the orientation of the flow.  Sun Salutes are forward looking poses while Moon Salutes can be viewed as more of a peripheral flow.  You have to try them to understand!

As you can see Moon Salutes has quite a dossier from which everyone can benefit.  Benefit from at least one of its attributes by joining us in the Friday afternoon or Saturday morning class as listed below.

The Baby Backbends classFriday at noon is a floor class that undoes the ills of being seated, whether from watching TV to driving or using a computer.
